Tree planting on St. Brigid’s Day
On the first of February last our Infant and Senior classes with the support and help of the Sneem Tidy Towns planted trees in our field. The Tidy Towns Committee were given trees to create mini orchards in the locality.
Our mini orchard was planted in our Sportsfield.
Our St. Brigid’s Day Celebrations
To mark St. Brigid’s Day all our classes read and studied St. Brigid with each class making St. Brigid Day Crosses and learning about her commitment to the poor and marginalized in our society.
